Η ταινία «Hamnet» αναδείχθηκε Καλύτερη Ταινία στην κατηγορία Δράμα κατά τη διάρκεια της τελετής το βράδυ της Κυριακής. Μπαίνοντας στη βραδιά, το «One Battle After Another» βρισκόταν στην κορυφή της λίστας των υποψηφιοτήτων με εννέα, ακολουθούμενο από το «Sentimental Value» με 8.
Η κωμικός Nikki Glaser παρουσίασε την τελετή από το Beverly Hilton στο Μπέβερλι Χιλς. Η βραδιά σηματοδότησε τη δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά της Glaser στον ρόλο της παρουσιάστριας.
Το πρώτο βραβείο της βραδιάς δόθηκε στην Teyana Taylor, η οποία κέρδισε το βραβείο Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε κινηματογραφική ταινία για το «One Battle After Another».
